What makes our 100 Hour Advance Anatomy & Therapy Teacher Training Unique?

We help students to build a strong foundation through our 3 ways of teaching methodology – Learn < Experience < Apply.

In other words, Theory < Practice < Teaching. First, through the conceptual learning of yoga and human anatomy, you will be able to see human anatomy from a yogic perspective. Then, all the knowledge you acquired will be practically taught where you will practice asanas and correlate the concepts. Last, once you experientially witness the anatomical relevance to your own postures, you will be encouraged to apply it through teachings. Below are some of the takeaways from this 3-core-teaching methodology:

  • You will gain knowledge of applied anatomy & therapeutic concerns, and how to construct well-rounded alignment-based yoga classes.
  • You will learn about the origins and influences of yoga (history & philosophy), as well as how modern science and research have been incorporated into the practice.
  • You will be able to assist, modify and adjust in light of each student’s originality and distinctiveness.
  • You will have the skills necessary to construct creative sequences and successfully guide students throughout the practices that will become an uplifting & healing process for them.
  • You will learn how to effectively support your students in case of difficult yoga poses & movements through the proper use of props.

Anatomy is not about memorizing difficult scientific terms about your body. Our 100-Hours Advance Yoga Anatomy & Therapy Teacher Training goes beyond labeling. The anatomical technicality needs to be experienced. In simple words, when we have the relevant knowledge of anatomy, we naturally do asanas in a conscious way.

It helps us to get in tune with our bodies. Once we have through and through applicable and experiential knowledge of anatomy, we will be able to guide others better. Here’s more about how this course can be a life-changer.

Easy to Learn! We do not use complicated terms as it is not a medical course. We teach with simplicity and the focus is majorly on the practical aspect of it. Since the purpose of anatomy in yogic parlance is completely different from medical, our emphasis is more on heightening awareness about one’s own body.

This course is, in fact, an ‘Applied Yoga Anatomy & Therapy’ course for the reason that the very foundation is about the application of the knowledge one gains here.

Mind Flow Harmony has trained around 700 to 800 yoga teachers and also has offered 60+ online courses. After regular interactions, observations, and feedback from all the teachers, we have structured this course mindfully with a practical approach.

The teachers at Mind Flow Harmony teach from their own experience. They have gone through the phase of the student as well as the teacher. They crossed the limitations one faces in this subject themselves which brought them clarity in how to impart this education so that one could comprehend effectively.

You will become more confident as a yoga teacher after this course! A yoga teacher requires basic information about how a human system works. For this reason, the relevancy of this subject comes with two things- first, what anatomy is needed to know for the purpose of doing & teaching yoga; and second, how this knowledge is applied on the mat. After this course, the whole approach of your teaching will entail a new dimension as you will be aware of various aspects involved in doing an asana.

You will save yourself and others from injuries to occur while doing yogasana. We, at Mind Flow Harmony, strongly believe that yoga teachers stand to gain a lot from the knowledge of Yoga Anatomy, especially enhanced safety and development for the teacher and their students. This knowledge can automatically help them boost the effectiveness of the asanas while protecting the body from injuries in the best possible way. This improved injury prevention and faster healing lead to a smooth transition while incorporating a yogic lifestyle.

You will have a heads-up when you have to deal with people with some specific conditions, such as pregnancy, weak ligaments, lower back issues, etc. In these particular cases, some asanas need to be avoided and some can be done with variations. After this course, you will be able to employ the best possible methods or variations for your students to practice.

This course can bring clarity in and out, not only with respect to the human system but also the philosophy by putting it into the application as a part of Yoga Therapy. One will get to know the rationale behind yogic teachings.

This 100 Hours Yoga anatomy and Therapy Teacher Training educational course is a way to surpass the fear of injuries. Some of us, especially when trying advanced asanas, have an innate fear of possible injuries. This is a natural feeling when we are not very much aware of the human system, its movement, joints, etc.

Since our Applied Yoga Anatomy teaches all about the body with respect to asanas and gives the opportunity to practically witness it, teachers become more confident to take risks to try out advanced asanas. You will be able to figure out to what extent you should be pushing yourself to do an asana. This will lead to more freedom in your practice as you will not have to limit yourself due to fear.

With more practical and relevant knowledge, you will be able to break your old physical limitations and incorporate new ones as you progress. Your sense of alignment, movement, steadiness, stability and balance will improve. This also helps in creating better yogasana sequences for different kinds of people.

Testimonial - What our students say about our YTTC

review us on
I can’t say enough about what a lovely experience I’ve had here. From the get go I was made to feel welcomed and at home. The teachers were all very knowledgeable and supportive and since I was in a very small group, it felt like I was getting a one on one experience that I would not have had the opportunity of receiving anywhere else. The location is great, surrounded by nature and away from the noise of the town. The waterfall pool right in front is really convenient for cooling off on hot summer days. Yogesh Ji is always there to assist in any way he can. The food is great and the cook/caretaker is super kind. The little tea shop next door has great chai, which is an added bonus!Where does one begin with the teachers??? Yogesh ji and Chirag ji were great in imparting anatomy and physiology knowledge- I learned so much about how our skeletal system impacts our practice and am super grateful. Mahesh ji made yoga philosophy lessons interesting and applicable to current times, with his anecdotes and detailed explanations, inspiring me to want to learn much more. Megha ji was able to demonstrate every little detail about hatha yoga asanas and gave some of the best adjustment and modification tips I’ve ever received. Nitin ji made ashtanga classes seem so easy and I absolutely loved his humble energy. Shubham ji really took me into myself with his wonderful yoga nidra sessions and made me want to delve deeper into pranayama. Vishnu ji made mantra singing fun and always had the wildest stories to share. It’s been an amazing month of learning and growing, and I could not have picked a better place to do it! Thanks so much to everyone at MFH, a wonderfully positive experience!!!! (A big special thanks to Santosh for being kind and generous with his time, and of course to Shanti the cat, for being well, a cat.)🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Together with my partner we joined the 100-hour anatomy and therapy yoga course. We both loved every minute of it.You could tell that the teachers have passion for the subject and that they know a lot about it. Not a single question was left unanswered.I also enjoyed the interactive class structure. There was plenty of room to ask questions, discuss and integrate theoretical knowledge. The knowledge really helps in understanding each movement in the body and how this relates to mental processes. It definitely changed how I step on my mat each day, with more compassion, appreciation and amazement for my body.We highly recommend each yogi whether you are a teacher or not, to join this course!
