Tread Beyond Thoughts Into Stillness

A BEGINNER has a fantastic opportunity to learn all there is to know about the reverenced and sacred practices of DHYANA during a 7-day meditation retreat that Mind Flow Harmony offers. It is well known that regular meditation practice may have significant positive effects, including decreasing blood pressure, reducing anxiety, and increasing awareness and acceptance of oneself and the world around us. Meditation aims to achieve mastery over the monkey mind by witnessing what’s going on in your mind, and realizing you are more than your thoughts and feelings. Meditation does not mean to stop thinking, in fact, it leads to thinking consciously when needed.

Our retreat is situated deep in the core of nature among the mountains. This is a very conducive environment for you to rejuvenate and relax, be on a healthy diet and explore a yogic lifestyle but in comfort. The course is designed especially for beginners, therefore, all the practices are conducted at a very pleasant pace. The idea is to give you a mini vacation that will also prove to be fruitful in the long run, as you will learn about several practices that can keep you at ease even when you are back to your regular days. This course has led to the revelation of profound insights for many participants which have transformed their approach toward life & others bringing positive changes in their interpersonal relationships. The practices that you do here and the lifestyle you live, have major mental, emotional, physical and social benefits.

What you will experience?

Pranayama: Paying attention to our own breath when meditating is essential since it helps to relax both the body and the mind. Observing breath & using various techniques to take a hold of your prana energies is Pranayama.

Asana: According to Patanjali’s Yog Sutra, the condition of “Sthira Sukham Asanam” is what one should strive for when performing asana. You will learn asanas in this course that will help you achieve stable contemplative postures.

History and Philosophy of Meditation: To comprehend the science of meditation and how to teach the wandering mind to concentrate on a single thing, such as a sound or the breath. The prolonged focus of the mind, called Dharana, is a preceding step to Dhyana

meditation and yoga retreat
  • Anatomy of Meditation: Understanding the many states of awareness that one might reach throughout the different phases of meditation is known as meditative anatomy. Depending on each person’s level of awareness and meditation practice, this may vary.

  • Methods of Meditation: This retreat will cover a variety of meditation techniques that can help you connect with your higher self.

  • Sattvic Ahaar (Diet): Eat balanced, nourishing meals according to the Sattvic diet to keep your body feeling light and to support long sessions of intense meditation.

  • Expansion of Consciousness: In simple words, being conscious means being aware. The more we are aware of everything within us & around us, the better decisions we can make. Meditation and yoga enhance your perception & awareness. They are the supporting pillars of bringing someone to a higher level of consciousness which enables a human being to live and experience life splendidly. This is an ongoing process and one keeps on evolving inside-out.

  • The Simplicity of mind: The mind is like a mirror. A wise person said, if the mirror is wonky, we won’t be able to see clearly. Since it functions on a bunch of ideas, it’s better to get the right ideas and that happens when there is clarity in perception. A calmer & balanced mind creates inner peace & this becomes possible through meditation & yoga.

  • Emotional Balance: Balance has to happen where one kind of support goes missing and we have to stay steady on the remaining faculties. E.g., balancing on one leg itself means we have removed the support of another leg. An emotional roller-coaster occurs because we are yet to develop the capability to stay steady & balanced when some kind of emotional dependency is shaken. With physical balance through yogasanas, mental clarity & awareness, one can develop the quality of emotional balance, as body-emotion-mind are all correlated.
